Onset Gives Joins Jordan Education Foundation for a Night of Culture

January 26, 2018

Nearly a thousand students of Majestic Elementary School in West Jordan, along with their parents, were able to enjoy a Fiesta Celebration just in time for Christmas.

The night was a community effort with local politicians and musicians donating their time and services to allow the kids to enjoy a rare night out.

“I think the most important thing about events like this is it shows our community the outreach from so many agencies,” said Majestic Elementary School Principal Todd Theobold. “For our kids to come here and sit in an audience and see professional performers is such a treat.”

“When Jordan Education Foundation came to us at Onset Gives and asked us to sponsor this event, we were all in,” said Vice President of Marketing for Onset Financial, Debbie Worthen. “Our whole goal as a charity organization is to partner with organizations that are set up to help families of kids in need.”

“Something Good” performers Steve and Lisa James headlined the evening. Lt. Governor Spencer Cox and his family also took the stage. Traditional Spanish dancers danced flamenco in full feria dresses and accessories.
