Brock Faubus joined Onset in January 2024 as Senior Corporate Counsel. In his role, Faubus advises on a variety of legal matters across all disciplines of the company. His practice focuses primarily on transactional contracts, technical writing, and legal compliance.  

Faubus has extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex technology and financing agreements and advising on and solving complicated legal issues. Prior to joining Onset, he worked with a boutique transactional and litigation firm in Salt Lake City. He then spent more than ten years as in-house counsel in the SaaS and Fintech sectors.  

Faubus is a team player who is passionate about commercial contracting, technology, data protection, and finance.

Faubus grew up in the Los Angeles area of California. He moved to Utah as a college student and received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. Later, he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah.  

Faubus considers the title of “Dad” to be his most rewarding and crowning achievement. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, travelling, camping, and exploring the great outdoors. He is a die-hard baseball, college football, and all-around L.A. sports fan.
