Debbie Worthen joined Onset Financial in 2017 with nearly twenty-years of broadcasting experience. As an Award-Winning Journalist, she was recognized numerous times by The Utah Broadcasters Association and The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmy Awards) for storytelling and general excellence. On-air, Worthen was known for her enthusiasm, creativity and work ethic. She brings that same excitement and dedication to excellence to Onset Financial.

Worthen and her team are passionate about building and executing brand strategy to increase visibility across all platforms for the Onset Financial Family of Companies. This includes internal and external content. This multi-platform strategy takes the Marketing Team across the globe shooting testimonial videos with customers, and covering Onset’s world-class events.

Customer testimonial videos are a key element in building credibility with potential clients, and the excellence of Onset’s efforts were recently recognized as Onset won a Telly Award for B2B advertising video production. Telling our customers’ stories, and the critical role Onset plays in helping them achieve their success, further establishes the value Onset provides as a partner to our current and future customers.

She and her team also create quarterly internal campaigns and incentives to help drive sales.  There’s also no shortage of swag at Onset, and the Marketing Team has the pleasure of creating new and exciting team gear on a regular basis.

Worthen is an active member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association and serves on the Communications Committee. She is a graduate of the University of Utah where she earned a degree in Communication Studies; she later went on to get a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

Worthen is also an advocate for “at risk” children in Utah and is a licensed foster parent.
